About The Colorado Skate Shop
Hi, and thanks for stopping by! I started the Colorado Skate Shop, (formally Denver Skate Shop) in the fall of 2006. I was frustrated because, being in my late 30's at the time, I could not find a shop in the Denver area that carried boards that either had, a long wheel base, an old school shape, were wider than 8.25", or had a square tail, or any combination of those. Also, the first time I ordered from an online shop, it was closed but still accepting orders, so I had to have my credit card company get my money back for me.
After being bummed out about that, I opened what was then the Denver Skate Shop. I operated the shop from Aurora, CO from November 2006 until January of 2010. In February, 2010, I moved with my soon to be wife Christine, to the DU area of Denver. It just so happened that the skate shop formally known as Brothers Boards, which is now The Denver Shop is right across the street from DU. It didn't take long before customers, manufacturers, and distrubuters got the two of us confused. In the spring of 2011 I changed my name to Colorado Skate Shop.
I am committed to providing excellent customer service, and quality skate products. I also strive to carry products from small skater owned and operated skateboard manufactures.
If you are a manufacturer or owner of a skateboard company, and you believe your products are a good fit for the Colorado Skate Shop, please use the contact page and contact me.
If you have any questions about any product or any order please feel free to do the same.
Thank you for your continued support,
Paul Miller
